They were, no kidding! Often found unfired 9 mm rounds and even a couple of AK-47 rounds unfired at a different one.

Not scary to hunt tho as no one in those neighborhoods ever woke up before 1 in the afternoon!

I have been told that about thugs sleeping in until noon or later. Still in Atlanta south of I-20, pretty scary. Sad too because 2-3 very old parks in that area. I thought about carrying if I hunted those areas, then figure still not worth the risk of getting shot or shooting someone. You shoot a ghetto thug in Atlanta, you go to jail for sure. In one park in a good area of Atlanta, well at least expensive homes, I found a .25 colt automatic buried about 8" deep on the side of the road down by the creek bank. It dirty but in pretty good condition, no sign of rust. I turned that over to an Atlanta Police Officer I flagged down.

I didn't want to be in possession of a gun that I didn't know the history of the gun.
