Detector repair

I have not posted in quite some time but I've always kept up on the goings-on in FMDF as best I can. With that being said, I noticed a topic about detector repairs from 18mo ago but it refers to a broken link. My main question is, who out there does repairs on 'older' detectors? I have a Minelab XS2-Pro that is not functioning and it is by far my favorite detector.

Due to some health issues the detector sat undisturbed for a couple of years. I put new batteries in and turned it on but the display is very light, almost unreadable, and it doesn't appear to detect anything.

As an update to my original question, I did contact Minelab out of PA I believe and they assigned an RMA # for a return. I may yet send it to them just to see what it would cost to fix.
