Charles II half penny minted between 1660 and 1685
King George I half penny dated 1717
Medieval loom weight
17th century buckle
Unidentified finial (probably Victorian) and two flat buttons.

Amazing finds indeed - so is this a guided hunt? Are they seeded or do these guides just know and have access to good spots? Curious but don't imagine I'll ever make it across the pond for detecting or otherwise - but who knows. I'm a pauper

Not seeded. Which is why the finds have been pretty lackluster since the first day. I did find a Roman coin, that was cool. But according to people who have been doing the tour for years, this year and this trip in particular has been thin. Here is a pick of the Roman.

It’s an AE4, VRBS Roma commemorative. 330-335 AD 4th century Roman coin. 1689 to 1694 year old.

Allegorical Roma on the obverse and Romulus and Remus ( the mythical founders of Rome) suckling a she wolf on the reverse.

Just amazing, congrats. Thanks for the reply too. Interesting for sure. Safe remainder of your trip!
