I didn't look close enough at the head of the eagle. The pic of the back makes it look like a two piece. The early buttons with the head to the right are all one piece. That RB button has the wings and head in the right position, but I can't see any initials on it. There just aren't many buttons with the eagle head to the right.
Its not RB, the arrows aren't in the same talon. This button was likely struck in the 1840's from a die used on the earlier 1 pc buttons. There is an Eagle "R" from the 1840's that looks very similar. I'd say a rare one.
