Connector thingy??

Went back to the house where I had found the pieces of that bracelet I posted about 2 weeks or so ago...nothing great..although a Kennedy half, 1971, was found..An axe head was also found which I'm going to post later as soon as I can clean it up a bit...my question though is on the this:

Looked like it had been all black in color, 2 1/4" in length, about 5/8" in diameter..threaded on the end. Any ideas? There were some odd and end car parts found in the lot...maybe an old electrical connector?

Its a air valve cover from a tire off a car or truck...

That's a hose sprinkler. Thread it on your garden hose and use it , steve in so az

I'm not sure how it could be a hose sprinkler...the end is solid. Plus the threaded end doesn't seem wide enough to accept the end of a hose....
