Thanks. The bat wing is my first. I've seen my buddies dig them. I saw one dug a couple months ago at another cavalry spot not far from where I got mine. These relics are from John Bufords cavalry division. I was hoping for a sling buckle or saber plate. The farmer is spraying the field next to this one. I haven't hunted it yet. Maybe it'll turn something up. HH
