Morning y'all, I found a bullet recently that looks like a Garibaldi bullet. I found it in an area where they've been found pretty good before.... But it has a solid base.... What I thought after I saw that was that maybe it was a ringtail sharps with a cut off base. The width at the base is about the size of a regular minie ball but it isn't as long as a minie ball. It has an appearance that looks pretty deformed, it's about an oval shape in diameter at the top and the rings are deformed in some places. Tell me what you guys think....

I dug this Carcano last year. It's a .54 cal. The base is pretty deep and goes up past the rings. I have no idea what your bullet is. It's cool anyway.

That's a pretty wild looking carcano there! I wonder if so. I find spots locally near where it came from that there are carved bullets but it's just odd to think it was ironically carved to look like it does. Just strange but pretty interesting nonetheless.

Get you a "Predator" digging tool, George makes the best... predatortools.com

It looks like a cut Ringtail to me, but that deformed shape makes it hard to be 100% sure. If I were you, I’d be pretty stoked to find something that unique.

It's certainly neat either way, not long ago I found a sliver of a cut up Gardner about a mile from where I found the mystery bullet there, I thought that was pretty cool too!
