Well the short answer is yes lol. But I do metal detecting for the thrill of finding something and being outside! So many coppers.

Hey Ron! You got it I am from Canada, but only about an hour from the border. Hitting toonies is always pretty fun! I'm going camping in New Jersey in 2 weeks so hopefully I can pull something decent there. Where are you from ?

Hey! It's so strange, my machine seems really great at detecting coins but so far I have only pulled 1 ring never a gold one yet though.

Nice year-to-date clad totals! In my locality, there isn't an over-abundance of clad. Similar to you, I metal detect for the enjoyment of the hobby... which isn't necessarily dependent upon the quantity or quality of the finds. There are lots of aspects to metal detecting, like the pursuit of history, the camaraderie, or simply exploring God's creation. Still, uncovering some clad is always a hope when I set off for a hunt.
