Button Bonanza!!

Hit a corner of a new field...and there were buttons everywhere!! Never have I found so many in such a small area...

Also found a nice Crotal Bell, Iron Lock with 3 Corner brackets...Gotta be the remnants to the Treasure Chest I've been looking for....an Indian Cent above the lock to the left and a US Artillery Button above right, 1808-1821.

Incredible Relics from such a small area..Yep, gotta go back!!

You must have enjoyed that hunt, I know I sure would have.

One of the places I frequent produces quite a few buttons, mostly from a relatively small area. I joke with my wife that someone must have dumped the button jar.

I'm sure that field will keep you busy for a while. Good luck!

Great finds for you ! I have worked over a couple dumps at CW sites and found buttons , but not that many at once. WTG, Steve in so az
