Buckskin Breeches Button

I went hunting out in the woods that I have hunted a hundred times plus... Pickings are getting few and far between. I am happy to find anything of interest there now. Yesterday I found a broken Buckskin Breeches Button. It rang up 12-13 on the Nox. Thought for sure I had a nickel, but no.

Buckskin breeches, if I understand it correctly, are from the late 18th century. But I have a feeling this button is not.

I can not find anything on it, so if you know anything or have some info on it, feel free to let me know.

I found a Buckskin Breeches old button yesterday on my ranch in Central Texas. I can't find anything about it anywhere. Your post is the only thing that was close.
