Once again, USPS *claimed* to have attempted delivery of a package I am getting from Canada. They left no pink slip. From what I've been told by my regular carrier, there is a lazy b**** who doesn't like to deliver packages, so she returns them all to the office as undeliverable, thus leaving it up to the *customer* to go pick it up themselves, or for the next carrier to have to do her work. Maybe she does light packages, but this is a small box of mineral specimens.

I have rescheduled for the 31st (a further delay due to USPS incompetence).

The motto for our post office is CTR (Coast 'Til Retirement).

Yes , this has happened to me , wide open driveway , no bad weather , one part - was a ac home part , no air in mid summer , waited two weeks , they sent it back un-deliverable, even with a mail box you could have put 20 of them in . USPS sucks , not all of them , but bad apples are in the bushel !:worms:

I have a package coming from AZ to CA was moving good until it hit SAC sat there for 2 days now it is in LA I live just south of SAC so it has been past my town 2 times

My mailman says he is the hardest working Mailman around. I have no actual proof of that so I'll have to take his word for it. I send stuff by them with pretty good luck. I have a post office about one hundred feet from my shop. Maybe I'm just lucky ... except for the lottery. :(

I've had pretty good luck. We have a new driver, and he is not as good as the one before him. But he is getting better. The one we had when we moved here was the worst. Only thing we got in our mailbox was the dreaded pink slip of laziness. :foottap::waiting:

I think it all depends on the particular office. For my address, UPS is the best, but I've heard from others that say that UPS absolutely bites in their area. FedEx and USPS are my last choices.

I live in a suburb of Alexandria, which itself is a suburb of DC. I don't know if that affects the delivery services or not.

I try not to give usps any business if possible .. when the govt. Runs anything ..there is no owner breathing down the bosses throat asking about profits etc. Nobody cares when it's a govt. Entity.. Zero accountability everyone has a Job without any effort required ..
