Deep Freeze coming here in Northern WI.... Minus 5 Wednesday night, high of 3 on Thursday!

Yes, I was at a park on an old ballfield that isn't used anymore. I've hunted it before and pulled some silver. Thought I'd give it another try.

Very nice, indeed...finding gold is always fun, but finding it on the last hunt of the year would be extra special fun. 
Central Michigan is getting pretty cold as well, so I'm probably done until Spring. The sad thing is that yesterday, after waiting about a month, I finally received permission to hunt a new location where an old school house (mid 1800s) once stood. Oh well, it'll still be there next year.

Yes! Big smile. I just slipped it on my finger and walked back to my truck. It weighs 6 grams and has .25 carats in diamonds.

Awesome!!! Congrats!!! My Wedding band is very similar. I had mine sized a size smaller so it’s hard to get on, just for this reason. I know that was a terrible loss for someone
