Bad news, fellow detectorist

I just read this story some bad news. Please be in prayer for his family in this difficult time.

We talked about it back when it happened in February. Posts long gone though thanks to the hacker

You know... If I find a non-solid cannonball or any other kind of munition... Leave them to the professionals! If it is explosive, it shouldn't be in your posession anyway... The couple hundred dollars it's worth is not worth your life! I saw a mding video on youtube with these fools in Europe blowing up unspent munitions and was thinking to myself... They'll get what they deserve!

The orginial post about this had a link to this fellows site where he claimed, "I still got all my fingers". He even listed that he charged $20 for defusing one of the type that blew up. Method he used was a drill and no or very little water for cooling. The fragment that traveled 1/4 or was it 1/2 mile away and knocked a hole in a residential home's door, prompted me to do some looking and I discovered he was defusing explosives in the residential neighborhood. The general replies back then on this site was the fellow was a bad example for the general public to see and could affect in an adverse way the rights of those who act in a responsible manner.
