Back to Too Pointers thread. Ice fishing.

Too Pointer makes a good point. There are a lot of us here that "can walk on water". It is a ton of fun, and I love to do it. This year has not been a good year to venture out on questionable ice. I like to fish for smelt. That usually happens at night with a green led drop light to attract them. I have been out on the lake when the green glow is almost out worldly. Nothing, and I do mean NOTHING compares in taste to cold water caught freshwater fish.

I LOVE THAT LITTLE FISH!!!!!!!!!! These tiny fried fishes are my go-to with homemade chips with a side of vinegar hot sauce! Hard to find them around here though. How much fun is it to go dipping? A LOT of wading drinking and having fun. It's been 20 years since I went last.

Mark we go to north state park to catch these little buggers. It's a blast for sure. My former fishing buddy and I used to go there all the time. He unfortunately passed away last year. We had so much fun.
