After digging up the rest of my penny spill, which I'm not sure why I did I ended up with 4.8lbs of zincolns. Anyway, got home and saw the field across from my house was finally disc'd so off I went. First target was an 1700's? lion and snake button, second target was a well worn KG II. After that I quit for the day so a fellow forum member and I can hit it together. I don't want to deprive her of good stuff. Nice signs on a field I have hit probably 50 times already, but it keeps on producing!

...... second target was a well worn KG II.....
The poor east coast hunter has to tolerate an occasional "well worn" colonial or LC, eh ? They don't *all* come out candy-apple clean and nice and crisp, eh ? Oh the indignity !!

:woot: The KG II is an excellent recovery - way to go, Steve! I've never seen a button quite like that one. Any clues on its history?
