I got a call from my brother and detecting partner that our cousin had given us permission to detect the old homestead which is on the market. The house is in an old town village with a pretty big yard, I figured the 2 family was built around 1920 and there is evidence of the old Blackstone canal that ran through the backyard in the 1830 to 1860 timeframe. I usually detect the woods and old cellar holes so I was not used to all the coin action. We dug over 30 coins between us with Dave pulling out 4 silver dimes! My find of the day was a 1937 dog tag. Picture is some of the stuff I dug and his 4 dimes.

Hit another in town spot today, old school that is now apartments in a nearby city. My sister lives there and I had permission. Left my M-4 pinpointed in the lawn by accident, it grew legs and is gone now so I am pic until my new one comes. Suprised to find no silver but an even 50 cents
