My wife dug this Jordan badge up at a park we think may have been an old homesite, the park itself is in a very small, older town. We dug up several old items, from old hose spickets to some older car parts. This one was the cool find of the day tho! Can anyone give me any info on it??? I looked it up, but not much info on it!

Dr. WIki says: The Jordan Motor Car Company was founded in 1916 in Cleveland, Ohio by Edward S. "Ned" Jordan, a former advertising executive from Thomas B. Jeffery Company of Kenosha, Wisconsin. The factory produced what were known as "assembled cars" until 1931, using components from other manufacturers. Jordan cars were noted more for attractive styling than for advanced engineering, although they did bring their share of innovations to the marketplace. The company's advertising was often more original than the cars themselves. Said Jordan, "Cars are too dull and drab." He reasoned that since people dressed smartly, they were willing to drive "smart looking cars" as well.

Awesome info!!! Thank you!!

Pretty cool! A few years back I found a wheel center cap from the Jaxon. There were 25 car manufacturers in my town from 1901-1954, including Buick. My town isn’t Lansing or Detroit.
