Any ideas ?

Dug these 2 pins lately - no idea on them. The left one looks to be an eagle - the right one is a flower.

The backside of the left one is a snap on device. The right one has what appears to be the figure of Christ with Italy under him and "coe" on the left and "jen" on the right. Any ideas ? Thanks, steve in so az

The medal is a rose I believe. Jesus was also called, "The Rose of Sharon."

Carol called the medal, not sure on the other. Anything in the area to date these finds? Whatever, they are GREAT!!

From a park that goes back to the early 1900's. I have dug old coins there several times over the last 10 years. Steve

Steve, My father had one of the pins on the left. He called it the "ruptured duck". As I remember (It's been 60 years) he got it when he was discharged from the WWII Army Air Core(sp) in 1945. It is a lapel pin, I don't know if it was for uniform wear or for civy suits. Hope this helps.
