Adak Island Pirate Cache

The historical record always gets in the way of finding fabulous treasures.

If you think about it : NONE of the "fabulous treasures" that are recorded as found, have EVER come from any of these legends. Found caches we read about now, are either something where there's no doubt of the historicity (Atocha, for example), or found by accident. Eg.: MD'rs digging those "pesky hubcap signal out of the way", get a cache instead.

But notice that of all the dime-store camp-fire legends (O.I., D.R., Yamashita, lost dutchman, pearl ship, etc....) : None of them are ever found.

So if you ask me, if a person's agenda is a cache, they are better off simply hunting around old ruins with a 2-box detector . Which only finds jar/can sized objects and larger. You will eventually find a cache.

This is why so many bread-&-butter caches were found in the 1960s, with the primitive BFO and lousy first-generation TRs : Because while those machines were fine & dandy for a hubcap at depth, yet they were wimpy on individual coins. HENCE THE PERFECT CACHE DETECTOR ! So ironically, with today's super sensitive deep seeking great-TID machines, means that LESS caches are found. Not MORE caches. Why ? Because we pass up that "pesky junk" now. Doh !

Funny you mention oak (hoax) island.

According to the self proclaimed expert treasure hunters on treasurenet, the number of treasures buried there is exponential.

A partial list of the claims:

Blackbeard’s gold
Templar gold
A space-time warp tunnel used by the templars to take gold to Mars
Francis Bacon’s tomb
Shakespeare‘s secret writings
Aztec gold
Jesuit gold
The Holy Grail
The Ark of the Covenent
King Arthur‘s gold
King Arthur’s son’s gold
gold buried by Welsh miners in the 1200’s

One would think that with all the digging over the last 200+ years that someone would have stumbled on at least one.

..........

And let me guess : Dissenting views, scoffing, and skeptical analysis of those claims is not allowed there. Right ?

I had a thread there asking for any factual, documented evidence of anything ever found on the island indicating a treasure ever existed there.

In over three years not one single shred of evidence was presented, only the typical, “they just need to dig deeper”, “seven must die”, etc. rhetoric.

A couple of weeks ago the moderator at treasurenet posted in the thread that since I didn’t believe in the oak island myth that perhaps I should move to a different forum and they locked my thread.

I informed the moderator that it was obvious as to their agenda based on their protection of parada and his lies concerning dents run and that I was “self banning”.

I certainly enjoy reading about actual treasures and the attempts to recover them. I grew tired of all the fiction and personalities seeking fame and cable tv shows based on their fictional treasure hunting and made up evidence at treasurenet and did not hold back calling them out.

I digress…..this is the dent’s run thread after all.

Can't question magic wands. Can't question D.R. And now you can't question O.I. ? Crazy. Just crazy
