Went to a friends 1700s farm this morning. I’ve been here many times. I’ve found some good things here over the years. But it’s not been as good as it looks. What I have found has been a little bit here and there. Today was no different. Started in the yard near the house where I’ve found some old things in the past. Got a deep signal that didn’t sound very good. Dug it and there sits a large cent in the plug.

tried a few other areas and found a little flat button with a small piece of leather still in the eye.

than we tried the woods we didn’t find any metal but we did find a nice set of sheds.

Off topic, but my Grandfather was a SeaBee in WWII. New Georgia and Vella Lavella in the Solomons.

Well he was with a hell of a band of brothers. There's an old saying; The Marines guard the gates to heaven, but it was the SeaBees that built those gates, and paved the road leading there.
