Well I guess that I am hooked again. It's been 4 weeks with my new 1500. Nice to be swinging again. Met some nice people, try to go out everyday for an hour or so. Hit a few local parks, fields, schools, beaches. Nothing to really brag about, but I am having fun.

Thats' a nice collection. Is that every pull-tab you've dug? How do you like the target-size indicator on the 1500? Can you trust it? How does the machine work on the beach? (Sorry for all the questions, but it sounds like a neat machine.)

Well that is not every pull tab I have dug up. My current treasure box was getting full, so I sarted putting them in the recycle bin after a final count for the day. The size feature works great, normally I don't dig on the size A or D. It sure saves on a lot of digging on the junk. Last (A) I dug up, turned out to be the target end of a whole arrow. fins were rotted away. What I get tired of digging up are the chunks of cans, which are run over by the mowers in the fields. Did not notice any difference between working the beaches or the fields.

That sounds like a really nice machine. Went to the woods last week and dug 15 smashed juice cans that registered as quarters. The size feature would have saved me some digging.

Thanks,

Rich
