Howdy guys these finds were the good ones from about 5 diff. spots in the last week I havnt even cleaned the wheat pennies yet... I was happy finding some indian trade copper pieces cross ring and I found a similar large copper piece in Pa. a few years ago to the large copper piece here..
Steve an I hit the small park again and again was finding mostly modern stuff then i hit a run of 4 civil war bullets in a row in a spot on a hillside, then got the 1893 barber qtr... its pretty worn.. then got a good strong hit about 6ft. from the qtr and sure enough got the 1925 merc and 1904-S dollar in same hole its my first semi-key morgan ... they were all mo more than 4 in. deep as we were walking back to the car a person stopped to talk to us and asked us what we found i did the old "awe nothin much".... he said he detects here and im march found 3 morgan dollars and 5 walking liberty halves.. and now the parks cleaned out`smile.gif i said im happy for him... in my mind i was saying thank you for leaving so much behind!! hehe Steve and I laughed about it all the way home. the tokens are a willam henry harrison token, and a singer sewing machine token from 1918.
Steve is a good friend an older gentleman who does not like his finds posted but he does awsome at these spots too, many times he kicks my butt!!!!!!!!
