1700's colonial shoe buckle

Found this on the shore of Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. I actually found a thread here that identified what exactly was found! Ty ty!

There is a stamped inscription on it that reads "KENT"

Just out of curiosity, how far from Oak Island? I know they have a lot of finds in that date range, just curious. I kinda follow the show, and this is a legit question, not a jab.
