@ 7 inches down in a field on an old homestead.

wow, around 1980 I had a chance to use a borrowed MD and found 4 large cents on a site, its been 25 years but the same owner is still at there, I can't wait to see if he will let me try again.
I can't remember the make of the unit I used it was red with red search coils with a rosewood handle maybe a whites ?

2 unidentifiable coppers
civil war token
8-12 buttons (85th regimental, Massachusetts militia, Massachusetts Guard)
Henry Clay shell from the 1844 campaign
3 silver spoons
8 musketballs
dozen buckles
Crotal bell
I will tell you guys how I find sites like this later today.
