I got the vaccine due to many other health concerns, and if I do get COVID-19+variant, I would rather just stay at home rather than have to be admitted to a hospital to experience the HMO's $500 deductible. All I have heard from reputable sources say getting the vaccine may not prevent 100% of the cases, but it does lower the chance of being hospitalized considerably.

I don't know how far this thread is from being shut down, but I don't believe the moderators will tolerate much more of having to delete posts.

Why should this topic be shut down for sparking friendly debate? Shut down because some people aren't predisposed to jumping on the vaccine bandwagon? I'm just making comments on a topic someone else started.

I am assuming the people saying they have not got the vaccine yet including myself are just commenting it's not for them and why.

If you took the vaccine that's great for you. I don't feel at moment taking the vaccine is great for me. I shy away from even flu vaccines because I don't feel I need them. I am not elderly, I exercise regularly, I have a strong immune system, I have no underlying conditions, I just am very rarely sick period.

The vaccines are great for the people most at risk from COVID. I know many people who have had it. None were the worse for wear having had it. All those who have had it are now contributing to herd immunity also.
 
Imagine if you had a 99.7% chance you were NOT going to poop your pants but I forced everyone to wear adult diapers and take antidiarrheals to protect me from the bacteria involved in your fecal matter.
 
Would you hop on a plane approved for emergency use only? I guess I did but my work paid me for it. I don't know if it works or not, guess it doesn't matter if it makes me sterile long term since I already have 4 kids and saw a doctor to make sure there won't be a fifth. Also a military reservist and know it's only a matter of time before I won't have a choice. It's not killed me yet. I don't think it should be forced on anyone. We all big boys and girls, make the choice you're comfortable with. Just walking down a street is a risk, if you're scared of getting hit by a car get off the street I don't care one way or another.
 
Scariest thing is , will your insurance cover your stay in a hospital when you get Covid? My coworkers neighbor and father owe around 150,000.!!!!:yikes:

Title of the thread is Vaccine Mandate. Discussing your views on the vaccine and masks is fine as long as we don't start attacking each other!

If it was a matter of getting away from potential danger, Heck yeah, and I wouldn't think twice about it LOL.

I would say if people haven't heard of Delta Plus, you are not up on what's going on. Again I say educate yourself. You've no doubt heard of the Delta, but the news, on the Left, is not mentioning the Delta PLus.

Myself I don't think it is right to mandate the vaccination, but I can see why some limitations are being put on those that have not been vaccinated. Requiring masks at this point is nothing but playing politics in my opinion.
 
I’m wondering how many of the people who think the government should not force a global pandemic vaccination are the same people who think the government should force vaccinations on children in order to be educated....How many hypocrites who belittled the parents choice are now crying out against a forced vaccination on themselves....it’s like the old words “let he who is without sin cast the first stone”....I’ll bet a large portion of the anti covid vaxers are the same folks who called anti school vaccine parents a moronic danger to society....

The same testing, just done much faster by bypassing processes, like funding, that normally slow the testing down.

The gene therapy serums absolutely were not tested like other vaccines. Not even close. There is still no long term testing data. Guess why?
The sources are out there if you are interested. Why not check it out first instead of labeling my post "misinformation "?

Not aimed at you my friend, I was referring to being pitted against each other by our government.

The vaccinations I posted did not have long-term testing before being OK'd for public use. Like the COVID-19, it was tested on a large number of volunteers willing to take the risk. They did not take years and years of testing, misinformation. It also did go through the proper testing as required by the FDA. Again, misinformation.

Again I say, if you have never heard of the Delta Plus variant, not just the Delta, then you don't know all you need to know to explain why things are being done as they are.

As someone who was working at the local hospital during the COVID-19 outbreak, I know for a fact how it adversely affected everyone besides just the ones who caught the virus. I saw and heard for patients how it was keeping them from very much needed help. I also saw so many posting that it was all a lie, as I went to work day after day seeing for myself it was a fact.

IF, and a big IF, our hospitals once again start filling up with victims of the new variants, then again people seeking the normal hospital's visits will be shut off. That is why I say the biggest problem I see is that many people only look at themselves and how the virus affects them, not how they getting exposed, affects others.

It's not the same. Those vaccinations forced on children to attend school were actually tested, the covid gene therapy drugs were not. And now we are finding out the covid vaccines don't work and are actually poison.
I will not be a guinea pig for someone's untested gene therapy serum.
And no I don't believe anyone should be forced to get vaccinated for any reason. If you care to check, freedom from authoritarian government was how the USA was set up originally. Sadly, communist style tyranny has taken over.
The same people pushing for mandatory covid vaxx are the same authoritarian people who pushed for mandatory school vaccinations.
Can the people duped into getting covid jabs please not direct anger at unvaccinated objectors? Covid vaxx objectors are not the ones deserving of it.

LOL you see, that is where misinformation comes from. First off, there was no need to "force" the vaccinations on kids. I was there and it was all voluntarily done by parents who wanted to protect their children. Second, I'm not sure how you can come up with the idea the COVID-19 vaccinations don't work, but you couldn't be further from the truth. If they didn't work our hospitals would still be full of COVID patients. Mask mandates would still be enforced everywhere. The number of people getting infected, and the number being admitted in the hospitals, and the number dying would be where it was, not at an all-time low.

Of course, there are those conspiracy people who feel this is all another government coverup like the moon landing of 1969.

I'm beginning to feel that way I did a year ago going round and round with this, my head is getting sore from all the misinformation out there.
I guess the bottom line is to encourage anyone you know who has not been vaccinated at this point to just consult with their doctor or caregiver and see what they say and not listen to here say and rumors, ask a medical professional.

None of the covid jabs are FDA approved, they only have emergency use authorization. That means they have not been tested to the same extent as an FDA approved vaccine.
FDA approved vaccines did not kill a lot of people or they would have been pulled. What is the body count up to now for the covid jabs? How many crippled? I'll tell you it is far in excess of all previous vaccines combined.
So vaccine mistakes in the past were pulled long before they reached the current covid jab death totals. Why is the poison covid jab still being pushed?
Right now, the variants are suspected of being produced and spread by the vaccinated. Vaccinated people are dying of covid, infected with covid, spreading covid.
I always believed the CCP virus is real, some thought it a hoax.
My brother is a cardiopulmonary specialist, intensive care is where he hangs out on a daily basis. Lungs turning into cement was the way the CCP virus did quite a few people. The stories are not good.
If I get the virus and recover, my natural immunity is far better protection than that given by the current poison jabs. I might have actually had covid in Jan 2020. Plus now my early treatment/prophylaxis makes vaccination unnecessary and I don't have to risk microclotting my guts.
But you are asking me to take one for the team for the good of the collective? Am I reading that right?
Or is it you want me to share the misery of being unfortunate enough to have taken the covid jab?

I know you'll again call it "for emergency use", but if you read, you'll see the emergency use did not change how they approved the vaccines other than to speed up the normal process. NO shortcuts or lack of testing processes were changed. And they were not allowed to be used, other than on the tens of thousands of test patients, until they were FDA approved to be safe.

Detector part of what your saying is probably true, but these vaccines were fast tracked. Most people including myself would argue for good reason. The fact remains they are only approved thus far for Emergency Use and did not face the long term rigorous testing most drugs and vaccines do.

Remember we are at best 1.5 years into the COVID-19 Pandemic and have had the vaccines for almost half of that time. So from scratch they designed a new vaccine, then tested it just like they do for other vaccines, and got it out in less than a year! Nope it was fast tracked without the normal multiple trials and exhaustive proof of no harm and efficacy that most vaccines have to prove.

I would have to see side by side comparisons with the COVID vaccines and others to believe otherwise.

I’m going to reply specifically to your statement of “tested” in regards to childhood vaccinations, and we are going to examine only one point. The point is “testing” of aluminum adjuvants, and the known neurotoxicity of aluminum. I’m not against “safe” vaccinations. It’s the use of known neurotoxins which remain untested that I disagree with. I am too busy at the moment but will expand on the subject later this evening. But to close this reply I believe anything we put into our bodies should be our choice, and should remain so.
