We were checking out Bluegrassjames goings on in the forum and his trader feedback. We found only 2 negative feedbacks, but more importantly, an earlier 1 positive feedback.

The positive one was from member Blunt_Force who joined on 11/27/12. He was last on the forum in 8/22/14.

However, Blunt_Force has made 30 posts, but all 30 posts date back to November/December 2012. No further posts since then until he logged on the forum on 8/22/14, almost 2 years later.

On 8/22/14 he comes on the forum and gives Bluegrassjames his one and only positive feedback, for a transaction that we can't find. This is just a few days before ParkHunter reported being scammed.

Looking deeper at Blunt_Force reveals that he used the same IP address as used by Bluegrassjames. In other words, Blunt_Force IS MOST LIKELY Bluegrassjames and used that account to make Bluegrassjames appear to be a good trader.

Based on this evidence, we have put both accounts on permanent vacation.

Sweet! I'll definitely be calling. Keep in mind though, the scammer is James Michael Kirby, his father's name is also James Kirby. This, is probably his father. Nonetheless, all contacts are helpful and I'll be calling just as I did his girlfriend's/business number.

Lisa Kirby, James' mother (listed on his FB page) is also found, perhaps she could offer some insight on her son.

A quick check, that any member could have made, before engaging in a purchase/trade with Bluegrassjames, would have revealed a lack of posts between 8/27/12 and his sudden listing of equipment in the classifieds or soliciting sales via PMs this past month.

Where was he all this time? He certainly wasn't on the forum. Should have perhaps raised a red flag? You really really need to know who you are dealing with.

Thing about metal detecting. Someone in every field does it. CIA, FBI. Rocket Scientist, Private detective. I know a couple bouncers who detect:lol:

Yeah I got that itsa. Probably deserved that one too. You ain't no Saint either.:D
