Over the years I've done some whining about the competition and the way they conduct themselves.
If you decide to visit Asia and try detecting remember your finds pouch :lol:

Man! I guess you were NOT kidding when you told us about what a stupid pantload it is trying to get in a full swing over there!! People all over your shoulder and right tight, slapping coils! And we were all like, "Oh c'mon, just tell them to back off" And you would say, "You dont understand" Well, those pics are evidence....

Last year I had a van load of them in the parking lot waiting for me to find a hot spot. Within minutes I was surrounded

Dude...I dont know what to say...Not even a can of Mace could clear that mob...I woulda thought your ample stature would have been a deterrent, but as we know, it has no effect on mosquito swarms like that....damn!

What kind of rigs do the locals usually swing over there? All of my family on my mother's side lives in Thailand and of all the times I've been there I never saw a single person with a detector anywhere. :?:

"Relic" hunting as it was a new construction site. If there was gold there the Governemt would have it closed off. I've never seen a relic I would pay more than a buck come out of this area of the country

Same with here until a few years ago.. it's now at or near the mania stage. Beach spots I had to myself will now have 12 to 18 guys hitting it on a Saturday night.. not much different than the photos.
