Went to a new and very promising spot today. Not much trash and very little digging. Dates to mid 1600's. Seems someone else has been here before. After about two hours I met a very nice lady walking her dog. For the next hour I learned a lot of history about the spot I was detecting and who had been hunting the ground before me. She also informed me of other potential spots in the area. Was a great day to be out detecting.
Ended the day with some clad, pull tabs, small metal object the size of a quarter with flowers, and a few bullets.
Any info on the bullets would be appreciated..
