Hello all, I posted a thread in the 'finds' category talking about my hunt this past weekend. I dug up two old stoneware whiskey jugs. The thread is here if you care to read the story:

I'm looking to see if anyone has any experience with these, or is able to date them. They were found in an area where we've found a 1777 real, 1830 large, cent, civil war items, and even items bleeding into the early to mid 1900s. So quite a wide range.
The white jug has a 'B' stamped on the side, but otherwise there are no manufacturer marks. They are very clearly hand made. My first impression was that they could be mid to late 1800s, but I could see them being early 1900s, too. So, any info anyone has would be fantastic!
Thanks
