Silver Bezel For What? Clues Welcome

It's definately silver (no plating). About 2" from top to bottom, 1" wide. Any clues?
The brownish color inside is a reflection.
Also, it appears to have been bent into that position.

I dont know what it is, but save the good finds for the contest. Last time I checked we are paired up as a team. As a matter of fact, I am getting ready to screw in my wooden leg and go practice for a while. My name is Randy and we can name are team the Belangabeers or some such nonsense.
