Hey guys I just got back from a very good hunt. I found my first SLQ and found a 41 merc. tonyva123 meet me there and he found the lost ring I have been searching for. We returned it to the owner and she was very happy to have it back. I managed to find 8 wheaties which puts me over 100 for the year! I also found a eagle button that is soaking in olive oil. I'll post a pic of it later.

What detector was your partner using and what numbers did the ring register? Just interested.

he uses a eurotek pro with a sniper coil, the ring rang up in the nickel range he said

Yeah I thought so. The two 14k rings I dug last Saturday were smaller and came in below the normal 12-13 nickel range on my CTX, they rang up 12-10 on the first one and 12-07 on the second, but they were both solid, repeatable signals with a tight target trace. Thanks for sharing the info. I keep hoping one of those 12-12, 12-13 is going to be a ring, but hasn't happened yet. Guess I'll just keep digging nickels and get lucky one day. :D

the gold ring I found last month rang up a solid 12-31
