I found a couple of interesting old toys at a former army base. I'm not sure why they were there but they are certainly period pieces and they're in beautiful condition.
The first is a Bradley "dime store" toy soldier circa 1946-1951. It's a somewhat rare transitional model which has the World War I kaki uniform and machine gun but with the newer World War II helmet.
The second is a 1955 brass Junior Fire Marshall badge from 1955. It was produced by the Hartford Insurance Company.
I thought these were to cool not to post.
