I just downloaded it onto my iPhone from the App store. Hopefully I'll get to try it out this weekend.

Also, you can use your same login and password you use to download/install updates on your Deus to log into the Go Terrain app.

Yeah, looks like at least a $4,99 app basic, a $9,99 premium.

If I was still fully active in my metal detecting I'd go for it, but I might try the basic.

Worked for me. Went out in my front yard and there was my house and me.

Yeah, its like 5 or 10 bucks for either basic or premium...but that's for a year subscription. I'll try it out for a year for 10 bucks.
I'm going to give it a try tomorrow at the old motorcycle track and the city park.

Now we need image overlay. Here is a current Google image with a 1938 image overlay of the old motorcycle track. Shows me just where to look.

I remember you mentioning that location, and definitely remember the old Indian motorcycle pin. Really cool stuff 😎 good luck out there!

Let the Go Terrain run while I hunted a tot lot this morning. Two targets were recovered. One was a medallion the other a penny.

I’ve been using the app for a month now. It has some really great features.

I love the auto tracking of TIDs if you choose it, and the ability to add photos, video and audio to each find.

A little frustrated though with TOPo maps not in the premium package. The marketing materials show TOPO examples.

The zoom feature does not have enough zoom.

Also, can anyone tell me the meaning behind all of the target icons? I can make out a few like “coin spill”, nail, waterfall?and mushroom? Lol. Not sure what they have to do with detecting. All the other icons are a mystery. I can’t find a legend for it either.

It would be nice if in the materials list they would include brass.

The accuracy of the app will depend on satellite availability. On the CTX it was accurate IN MY AREA in southern WI,USA to approx 5-7 feet. I could generally walk the icon onto a Findpoint and the target would be within the range of my swing in a circle. So the short story is…it’s only going to be “so accurate”, but certainly useful at that resolution.
