Years ago you could view maps in my are as far back as 1910, and in a few area the maps were even older. Now all of the sudden the same area only goes to 1950. This sucks because I know that pre and post wwii especially around my area changed how people lived and worked. Communities died in months sometimes.
Does anyone know of another option for viewing the older maps online? Most of our local library “map collection” consists of Rand McNallys from 1982.
