what a weird week hours to go!

What a weird week.

About 4 days ago I get a voicemail while my butt was still asleep.
Someone trying to get ahold of a detective or coroners office their brother in law was found dead in a motel room.

3 days ago, I wander into my back yard for a final cig before bed about 2:50am.
Sitting on the steps by my backdoor. I dont even get a chance to light a cig and I hear what sounds like a coyote yip while either attacking a animal or being attacked.. I wander to my back fence with private stairs going to the back gate. Pop my head over expecting to see a coyote in the alley way. But no what do I find....
A human.. A 12 year old autistic boy severely autistic non verbal at my gate... Mind you this Is almost 3 am.. Needless to say I walk back inside grab my cell call up the police department.. Was stuck there till about 3:45am.. Parents say this had happened before.. Told them buy a medical bracelet then and put a phone number on it. Really hope there is a social worker visit for the kids well being.

Then yesterday I am on my way to friends kids birthday party and along the riverbed was a dead body...

Sorry about your gruesome week.

Having an autistic child myself (granted he's verbal and not severe anymore) it's not the easiest adapting to a little human who randomly decides when and where to do their own thing. Thank you for looking after him till help arrived.

Things can be done, amazing things with technology now, but their behavior can be completely unpredictable sometimes. They also have no instilled fear of anything, which together can make a very hazardous combination. No defense here for the parents not having what's needed since this has happened before, but maybe they just tried a different way to deal with it that didn't work. It's trial and error trying to protect from unpredictable actions.

Was trying to find the latest update news wise not finding it now.
I believe it was a Hispanic male 25 to 30 multiple contusions and stab wounds.
Knowing this area, could have been gang related, drug related
The bike path along the wash here has many less desirable of society.
Due to self choices and crimes they commit.
