great finds WL...but this is why i asked everyone to post there points with the pics...so there is no confusion. also you keep asking which score system to use...it is the one in the thread that says "PLEASE READ FIRST" which that thread has all the information about the contest.

nice job. all tokens are worth 5 points...i suggest looking at the "contest info thread" and adding your points from that system before you post,so far almost every post youve made your count has been off ;)
Relichound in the past you posted on page four of this thread to use this one.

you are correct..and that is the correct score system. then why are you confused on which system to use? we got rid of most of the old systems which where just ideas of how to work the scores so there owuldnt be any confusion...im sure there still some incorrect systems running around but the correct one is as follows...

Points Awarded
{only US minted coins count}
silver coins 15 points for vets,20 for GH

pennies {excluding memorial cents...} 10 points vets,15 GH
pre 1946 nickels 10 vet,15GH

clad dollar coins{sacs,susan Bs and Pres dollars etc etc} 1 point vets 2 points GH

clad will be based on fractions for vets 10pennies for a point,5 nickels for a point,5 dimes for a point and 4 quarters for a point
for GHs all clad is worth 1/4 of a point each

gold jewelry 15 points vet,20 GH
silver jewelry 10 vet,15 GH

junk jewerly or plated jewelry 5 points vet,10 GH

tokens 5 vets,5 GH regardless of rarity..{yes even chucky cheese}

jewelry will be defined as rings,necklaces,bracelets

pull tabs 1/4 of a point {4 for a full point} green horns only

if ya have anymore questions give me a holler and ill answer em for ya the best i can.

Most likely confusion is due to I do not read every post due to time limits and most of my time was and well be involved in working on the state treasure stories.

Plus I joined so that someone had a partner for the contest, if it was a singles event I would not have entered. Your free entry by having a story contest was too tempting for me. Shame on me! ;)

Yes post 105 has a two cent piece I remember digging it and taking the photo after cleaning it up a bit. But with poor lighting when taking pictures and traveling about 2,000 total miles, it was hard to make out. But then looking over the coins/points system, I discovered yet another mistake on my part, it isn't worth any points for the contest. Disregard my earlier post about the coin. ;)
I noticed it seems some folks appear touchy over certain things, but then that just might be my being over tired.

i gave you 10 points for the 2 cent piece and updated your score. im sure it got buried somewhere or deleted with that one thread but no big deal...it said somthing along the lines if your not sure about the score on somthing i didnt add just post it and we can figure it out later.....like clad halves...i forgot them so we'll treat em like $1 clad coins and i figure itll be ok to treat 2 cent pieces as large cents and other older cent pieces.
and if by "some folks appear touchy" you mean me i think you are misinterpreting my post as ive not been touchy with anyone.

10/11/Finds

1 Silver Half Dollar * 20
+ 16 Modern Coins * .25
+ 1 Pulltab * .25
= 24.25 Points

My Total = 662.25

Thanks for posting Blamking, the 20 inches of snow is about all gone now, only a few spots have any snow as of today. The ground never froze, so maybe I'll get out some more.
