vanquish 540 vs nokta legend

Mrs. atomicbrh hunts with a 340. I will buy her any detector she wants. She has been so successful with the 340 that she is not giving it up. If you like this hobby and want a more complicated detector, I would suggest keeping the 540 as it will make a great backup detector. If you decide to keep the 540, buy a RNB battery pack from a reputable dealer and you won't have any problems with battery life. The Vanquish series is equally as good in the dirt as at the beach.
I also have the RNM Battery for my AT Pro, love it . Great battery!

I just put this in another thread. I bought the wife a Legend to replace her 540 and she didn’t like the Legend and went back to her 540 with the RNB battery. She kills it with her 540 and loves her machine. Who am I to get in the way of that? :D

What was it about the Legend she didn't like? How long did she swing the 540? She should give the Legend a bit of time.

You must not be married, because you’re asking for logic and reason to be applied to her decision.

That said, I wouldn’t give up my 800 for a Legend, or the 900 for that matter. And I’ve owned all three. I’m waiting for a 950, at this point, because, IMO, the things that they “fixed” on the 900 didn’t offset the things they screwed up.
