I got a pink delivery attempt notice instead of my package. I was home, but I assume the carrier knocked with a damp sponge, because I didn't hear any attempt to summon me. Now, I have to walk to the post office on Monday because the carrier didn't want to chance bruising their delicate hand knocking on my wooden door.
The local USPS office has a one-star rating at the site I checked. I just wished the vendor had an option for me to pick the delivery agent. I know it's not universal, but in my area, UPS is hands-down the best choice. FedEx is last, and USPS is only slightly ahead of FedEx.
I knew it was coming today, but since the USPS shows up anytime between 9 AM and 8 PM, I had no idea what time I would need to be down there waiting. They don't give me a time estimate like UPS. There was even one carrier on my route that didn't feel like carrying the packages around, so they marked them all as "inaccessible", and left them for the next carrier to deliver. I told the regular carrier, and he said he would report her.
