I went to a school I never detected before and was rewarded with $6.00 in clad and the bent 925 earring.
My wife and I got a coupon and used the clad for a Burger King lunch.

I used to watch JD's variety channel on youtube once in a while. Don't know whether he's still posting. He used to post a video once in a while where the goal was to detect enough clad to purchase his food for the day. As he'd find more clad he'd talk about how his meal prospects would improve from Ramen, to the dollar menu, to the Big Mac etc. Sounds like you guys did just fine creating a meal out of nothing.

Stay a little longer next time and you'll find enough for dinner. I never find enough to cover my parking which is $3 or $3.50 an hour. Digging $3 worth of clad every hour for 4 hours would wear me out!
