I took my 12 year old son with me to an old park today. Wow, I've not seen him get that excited in a while. I figured he would be ready to go in an hour but, he was still having a ball three hours later and didn't want to go. Lots of square tabs and clad but he loved it. If he is still into it by Christmas, Santa may have a gift in mind.

Good stuff. Took my son for the first time when he was 12 as well but he was ready to go after an hour. He wasn't as impressed as us with pulling clad and tabs all day Lol. Hope you got yourself a life long hunting buddy there

I hunt with a buddy here...He got into the sport at a young age from his Father...He's about the best Ive ever seen, out all the Time, no matter the weather..It is a very great hobby to get a young person hooked on, it will serve him well his entire life..Good on ya Dad!

Good times! I took my 20 yr old daughter with me last weekend and she loved it too, I couldn't have been happier. 12 is a great age because the older they get the harder it is to get them to hang out with dad, congrats for finding a new hunting buddy!
