These beautiful older Walkers, well worn, but attractive nonetheless, arrived this morning before KT and Prince John could get away for lunch! So they were escorted within the Castle, and made welcome with a chance to freshen up and a luncheon served by the Royal Kitchen, while His Majesty and John went off to have Thai food. Upon returning, KT met with them and discussed their needs. They each had more than 100 years of productive efforts in our society and just were looking for somewhere to enjoy their latter years. Since they were twin sisters and their slightly younger sibling, i.e., a family unit, KT asked if they would mind being in a single cottage just outside the Castle and have full Castle privileges during the daytime. They were most grateful. When asked what they had most enjoyed enjoyed in their long lives, they all stated that they loved to cook and especially to make preserves, so KT has granted them special permission to access the Royal Vineyards during grape harvesting because many people in the Kingdom are very fond of jams and jellies. KT will set their cottage up for their small industry and whatever they earn will provide them with sufficient income to enjoy their latter years. They were so happy that they stated that several times a year they would gladly host the Royal Family for a Special Dinner! KT definitely enjoys dining out so He is looking forward to them getting set up for just such an occasion! KT is looking forward to being served some of their special jams and jellies during the holidays! After taste testing their various products, His Majesty will see if they are tasty enough to give them "His Majesty's Royal Seal of Approval"! The Royal Photographer got their picture upon arrival and it is posted below for your approval. Enjoy!

Ah.... Your Majesty, greetings from the wilds of Montana! Very kind of you, sir, to have taken in three well worn "High Mileage Unit" Walking Liberty Halves. They truly have led a life with much wear and care, and I am sure will be forever grateful for your charity and hospitality. As in the old days of England, if their jams and jellies meet your approval, you can expand the production of said food products beyond the use of your household, and market them "By the King's Royal Patent" for the pleasure of your adoring subjects!

Just His Majesty’s Royal Thought. However, we shall have to taste said products before giving the Royal Grant of Approval! :D  That will be late in the growing season.
