Hi Everyone,

I recently went through some of my old finds, mostly from the desert as well as some old parks and there were around 18 objects that I could not quite ID and would like help in knowing what they are or what time period period they are from. I have attached the pictures below and will also provide all of the information I know so far.

Object 1: Its height is about 2.5 inches with a width of roughly 1 inch. It appears to be made out of copper or brass and is in the shape of a funnel or possibly a mouthpiece. There is an inscription that reads "BELL-AI RITE CU 5" near the base.

Object 2: Its height is about 2 inches with a width of roughly 2.5 inches. There is a hole in the middle and three on the sides. I cannot tell what metal it is made out of, but may be copper or bronze.

Object 3: Its height is roughly 3 inches with a with a width of roughly 0.5 inches. It seems to be some type of copper pin or maybe a bottle opener. It says "Admiral's Cove" which from a Google Search seems to be an exclusive neighborhood in Juniper, Florida.

Object 4: It is about 1.1 inches in height and 1.4 inches in width. It looks like a washer to me, but the hole in the middle seems to small. I believe it is made of iron.

Object 5: Its height is about 1.5 inches and about 0.6 inches in width. It looks to be made of iron and possibly another metal. I believe it is a hinge to something but can't quite tell.

Object 6: Its height is about 1.3 inches with a width of 2.5 inches. I believe it is off of a toy car as it seems pretty modern. There is a screw protruding from the middle and various parts inside, some of which may have been connected to something electronic. The outside has some numbers on it, possibly the product number.

Object 7: Its height is about 1.1 inches with a width of about 0.3 inches. It says "BIG BOSS" and appears to be made out of nickel. The part with big boss on it is roughly the size of a penny.

Object 8: The object is bent, but I believe it is roughly 3 inches in height and around 1.5 inches in width. It seems to be iron, but I have no idea what it is. It has an arrow shape with red coloring on the back.

Object 9: It is about 1.5 inches in height and roughly the same in width. It appears to be made out of iron and is in the shape of a ring. My guess is that it came off of a chain or maybe is a piece of equestrian equipment. It could just be junk though.

Object 10: I cannot properly determine the height or width given that the object is bent. It appears to be aluminum or maybe iron.

Object 11: It is about 2 inches in height and 4 inches in width. I cannot tell what metal it is, but it seems to be a small license plate holder.

Object 12: I cannot properly measure it, but it seems to be part of a ring or circular object. "FRESNO CALIF 403" is inscribed on the bottom.

Object 13: It is about 2.5 inches in height and about 0.2 inches in width. It seems to be made out of aluminum and I believe it covered some wiring.

Object 14: It measures a little over 2 inches in height and about half an inch in width. It also seems to be some sort of hinge as it has a hole on the top.

Object 15: It is a bit less than an inch in height and width. It seems to be made of copper and I am guessing was used to screw something in, given the screw in the middle.

Object 16: It measures about an inch in height and is about 0.3 inches in width. It looks to be some sort of lock or possibly key. It is pretty small and I believe it is made of iron or an iron alloy.

Object 17: This one is probably the easiest and so I don't feel I need to give measurements. It is I believe an earring about the size of a quarter. I do not know what it is made of or how old it is.

Object 18: This one is about an inch in height and maybe 0.3 inches in width. I believe it is a key, but I do not know to what.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!

Object 1: Trumpet mouthpiece?
Object 3: Golf divot repair tool?
I see a couple conduit clips.
Also see a chunk of sprinkler head and an ear ring.
I think I also see part ot an old razor handle.

Thank you so much guys! I was thinking maybe a trumpet mouthpiece, but I could not find one that exactly looks like mine. I think that is what it is though. Also jl252 what does the laser pickup and tracking arm do?

From the shape, I think it's more likely a french horn mouthpiece. But it's definitely some sort of small brass instrument mouthpiece.

Object 1: brass instrument mouthpiece (probably french horn)

Object 2: piping flange.

Object 4: fender washer

Object 5: line retainer, for holding tubes or wires in place against a body, most commonly used in cars

Object 6: laser emitter assembly on a precision linear actuator, most likely the optical components from a CD player/drive.

Object 8: decorative hinge, likely for a wooden box or cabinet

Object 11: decorative chromed bevel, 50s-80s

Object 13: chromed handle from a safety razor, magnifying glass, or similar, 50s-90s

Object 15: key, generic, office lock box, cabinet, or the like, probably 25 mm cylinder, 80s-present.

Thank you so much! I am definitely learning a lot more about these objects.

If you found#1 in the dessert SW it may be the mouthpiece of a 19th century military bugle.
