Sloppy EQUINOX shaft

I'm sure others have the sloppy wobbly lower shaft on their Equinox. Mine wiggles a little bit. I don't want to purchase a carbon fiber shaft. Since my lock collars are tight... Has anyone came up with a quick fix?

My shaft has some wobble as well. I called Minelab and they said they were sending me a new shaft that would take care of the problem. A great company with great products and great service.

I called the Customer Care number for us products. 1-877-767-6522. There is a toll free number 1-888-949-6522 but I would use the first number. I had to leave a message that my shaft wobbles and I have to tighten it about every 10 minutes. The Customer Care Lady called the next day and ask questions about the upper and lower is they both wobble and they do so she is sending a complete shaft. She was very nice and helpful. I received a email the next day with a tracking number. I would call the first number. I hope this helps. Good hunting.

Mine does not wobble. I have also purchased a new lower shaft to change coils quicker and that one does not wobble either.
As others have posted contact minelab and ask...............

I did email Minelab. You are right their customer service was great. I now have a new lower shaft coming without having to send the bad one back!
