I have an all metal shovel that is light and small. But it is what I would call a classic spade shape with no serrations. Any recommendations? Amazon has the Garrett Razor Relic listed up front. Good choice?
What's the center piece made out of?I bought this L'il Digger a couple of years ago. Works well and is very lightweight. Then I bought a more expensive Lesche. It was a better shovel but was quite heavy.
I have a gizmo on my belt to hold a shovel and the Lesch kept pulling my pants down!
So I sold it and just use this one, it works fine. Tempted to paint it black though so it doesn't stand out so much.View attachment 592276

Yep, the L'il Digger has a fiberglass shaft. Weighs 2.5 poundsI suspect fiberglass, not sure.
Thanks everyone. I'm looking at the Root Assassin and the L'il Digger. I appreciate the feedback.
Edit: ordered a Root Assassin. Tried to cancel and order the digger, but Amazon wouldn't let me cancel it (three minute old order). So I'll just try it.
