The cat in the first photo is Moby, our furry friend of fifteen years who died of cancer on February 26th of this year. We will miss him no end. Since then, we've acquired two cats from a local shelter who rescued these cats and other animals from an animal hoarder. The shelter told us that these cats were totally neglected and possibly abused. The cat in the foreground is named Tabitha which is a name Sue picked out and the cat in the background is named Autumn, a name that I picked out. They are mother and daughter......Tabitha is the mom. These two will get plenty of love and attention for the rest of their lives. Tabitha is three and a half years old and Autumn is just over one year old.

My oldest son has 4 cats, and loves them to death. Most cats, I'm allergic to, most of cats. Funny, they are all have names from "Friends." I'm so sorry for your loss, take care
too_

Very tough to lose a pet, their memory fades but never goes away.

I never cared for cats but a couple years ago I was dumpster diving and found a tiny black kitten in a dumpster, was freezing cold and he didn't have much longer to live if he stayed there so I took him and ended up keeping him, cool cat.

Big congrats to you for showing the kitten the act of kindness that you did. Moby will be in our thoughts forever.

Thanks vmc.....definitely hard to lose a pet. Hopefully our new arrivals will be around for a very long time.
It's nice to remember back to the times they made you laugh or stare in amazement and their total indifference to what you want.
The old saying. Dogs 🐶think we are gods, Cats 🐱 know they are and pigs 🐷think we are equals.

As an avid Cat lover, I definitely feel your pain on the loss of Moby. It always leaves a very large hole in your heart. But over time that hole heals. Getting a new little friend helps the pain go away faster. So sorry for your loss, and congrats on your new friends. :waytogo:

Moby brought us much happiness and he was definitely a "character".

Thanks, Bill, for the kind words. The hole will heal but never go completely away. We miss Moby but look forward to the days ahead with our new arrivals.

My friend I have been there numerous times and it never gets any easier. When you have the charge of being a guardian of one of these special creatures, it hurts when their time comes. For as much as it hurts to see them go, I remember the time I was blessed with watching them grow. The thing you need to keep in your mind is the care, love, and protection you gave to them during their time on this planet. But now you have more lives to take care of. Do it well my friend, do it well.
