My good friend Tryston Roebuck received a call from a lady recently, asking him to try and find her silver ring she had lost in a creek. He said he would, and darned if he didn't actually find it! I don't know much about the hunt, except it took some exceptional detecting skills to locate the ring after being in the creek for weeks. It must have been around the Jacksonville, Oregon area, as that is where he lives. Way to go Tryston!!!
In case you don't remember, Tryston is the one who found that 1.43 oz. gold nugget a couple years ago near Jacksonville.

Thanks for sharing...this is really impressive! My experience has been that losers of jewelry really don't know exactly where they lost their ring/earring/necklace, so the search area expands indefinitely making it pretty tough to recover. To find a lightweight ring in a creek with moving water after a couple weeks ---> incredible detecting skills + a little luck.
