I don’t follow all threads. Sorry.
You don’t either by your own admission.
Narrative?
It’s not me who questioned and bad mouthed Deus 2 then turned around and got one.:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Think you even got one gent here who is recommending Deus 2 to poster for salt beach. And person doing the recommending don’t even own a Deus 2.

I decided my next detector gonna be a pulse... with Excal and Nox I got the VLF hunting covered... some beaches a VLF detectors are worthless at...

This beach... been hunting it for years... its a pulse beach you can leave discriminating detectors home... brought my friend Mark with his TDI PRO scored big... still has the wood in the backing part of button...

https://metaldetectingforum.com/showthread.php?t=258601&highlight=usa+officers+button

I miss my pulse detectors so I decided to forgo trying the D2 and going to go with what I know and enjoyed hunting with...one of my oldest rings I found there...ring dated 1869 wedding band marked 18k was just a negative repeatable break in threshold on my PI but I dig them all the time... it wasn't a fish hook... and if it was so what.. I started the hobby as a pulse hunter...

I dig fish hooks ALL the time. Rusted hooks , real deep , sound just like many gold rings. Serious beach hunters know this. Plus I feel good taking those off the beach.

TNSS --- ( You ready for your Deus 2 quiz then? ) The D2 is like a bucket of mixed chum , ya don't know whats in it , the fish are not biting , and ya can't catch the fish when they don't nibble  , Cfm-ct ---- ( I decided my next detector gonna be a pulse. ) I think your making a wise decision ! KOB -- I like digging everything , ripped bicep , herniated disc, & fat , the big heavy scoops are a plus  ,

Already took Deus 2 quiz.
Aced it!
You ready for your AQ Impulse quiz?

We’ll begin here with you with question #1.

1. The AQ Impulse was shown in a video early on where it had capabilities to unmask gold rings even with substantial number of nails on top of.
So just how many videos were shown in the wild where AQ Impulse was indeed pulling gold rings out from under the nails or how many actual tests planted on wet salt beach test were shown where the distance of nails exceeded what was shown in the earlier video mentioned above -Where the detector was signaling nonferrous tonal signature?

You ready for your AQ Impulse quiz? ) NO , you don't own one , I suggest moving closer to the beach , stop watching other hunter's you tube videos / than posting there hunts on the water forum , get some real hunting time with vlf's, pulse machines on a SALT WATER BEACH , and maybe some of your BS will become believable in :imo::my2cents::lol2: Your retired like me , I went at 50 , set game , match , you have no excuse on why you can't make the move close to the beach , other than killing coyotes , digging dirt at 60 , you CAN make the move  , PS Than you can post some better -- :ohthedrama::twister: ---

I wouldn’t have to post other folks water hunts if you would post some.
Where are yours?
You really need a camera to be believable Earl.
Plus you can video that mutt too.

In NO WAY is Earl's dog a mutt. That is a fine looking quality dog. Needs some training but that's it. Why don't you stop being a human waste and contribute something solid for once in your life. Obviously 22 years in the esteemed AF taught you nothing. You should be ashamed of yourself.

You seen the papers on that dog?
I haven’t.
Looks alone don’t make a dog a nonmutt.

Works for horses, goats too in case you don’t know.
I have a friend who is into kiko goats.
He has taught me a lot.
Here’s his site.
Check out that buck goat- Indian Outlaw. Spectacular. Some folks may not even realize a goat can get this big.

Ain’t the TN hills and foliage beautiful.

( You seen the papers on that dog?) NO COMMENT , RUDY laid down the rule , dogs go on Friends & Family forum , not ON - here !, bring that up there , and get your enlightment  , as far as videos , there is a reason why most don't post video's on the water forum , me included , your not in the club :realitycheck::pirates: ( LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIP CLUB ) Dirt hunter's ( NO ADMISSION ) Even if you were told were they found the goods , it might be a year later , on another seeded ZINC penny beach , sworn brotherhood here :scope::pirate2: PS when you finally make it to the beach , bring some cash , we all know you will never move to the beach , instead of wounding those coyotes with a small caliper , I have a pristeen Weatherby SS -300 mag Mark 5- , leopold scope ,transfer DE. gun shop , - 1 shot will kill a Coyote 300 yards , without watching the Coyote suffer- multible shots :( very crule indeed :nono: , I saw your videos , they are BS couldn't believe what I saw :( PS Option 2 , fly up to CT. and hunt with Craig watch / learn , so you can fit in with Salt beach hunters , before you come back , here ya go bro . https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/2...sedgntp&cvid=1a30046f03764f59b59866f5461d8ad1 But sad to say the shelter might not except your application for adoption , due to above mentioned problem :(

Why are you even on the beach forum? You are not a saltwater beach hunter and most of us are... you are out of your element here...

No one needs a camera to be believed...

I was going to make a comment, but have decided to trust my better judgment. Besides, I've never hunted a salt water beach. I know my place. Others.... obviously do not. Carry on.

The title of this subforum doesn’t even have the word SALT in it. I hunt fresh water beaches occasionally. I live by the lake and river. Actually with 40 miles wise from my house there are several lakes that have swimming spots designated and detecting is legal there. Do I show all I find or vidoe my hunts at these places? Nope. Loose lips sink ships. Like someone has already said. I test detectors at these places too.

Just want you guys who spent all this time posting, and disagreeing for the last week I have (Almost) finished my deck during this time. Amazing everyone gets so wound up over a metal detector. Does anyone feel they have accomplished anything?

Just a hint , Craigs trying to tell you in a respectful way ( Why are you even on the beach forum? You are not a saltwater beach hunter and most of us are... you are out of your element here... ) Most of us ARE SALT WATER BEACH HUNTERS , conditions are different in Salt / Salt black sand , and condos with emi interference , so we don't need D2 videos from other hunter's , or you telling seasoned Salt beach / water hunters that been doing this for years WHAT machine is best , and or D2 promotion sales pitches , I don't hunt enough to be a pro , but there is a difference from fresh water vs SALT . , so in my opinion , take a look back at what you posted on the Beach water forum , AS ( Why are you even on the beach forum? You are not a saltwater beach hunter and most of us are... you are out of your element here... I think this is what Craig means , even though this forum has mostly Salt beach & water hunters , different from Fresh water ,( you are out of your element here) ! , PS Happy Dirt, Fresh water hunting , Lifes A Beach :tropical: PS DANG Joe, great job on the deck , I need a deck extention for Astronomy when you get some free time  , nice hot tub , your girl will love it in the winter

That's nice but it only looks like you replaced about 4 boards. At least it's an accomplishment ! Oh , there should be a special section here for us deck builders : 20220716_080342.jpg

That is a beautiful deck OBN.

I managed to put in a new shower in my basement, visit two of my sons and my new grandchild and drive 2000 miles without having to overdraft my bank account. I got back home and Garrett released a new PI detector (surprised me for sure) and lit up the forums with the usual. It was nice to be away from all this mess for awhile but I couldn’t resist conversing with you all, especially tnsharpshooter.

Yeah, those are Deus 2 WS6 back phones around my fat head.
Far northern Montana so not exactly beach/water forum but.....used to be a big glacial lake and an inland sea before that. Coquina several feet thick in some places and miniature alligator/crocodile fossils. Amazing place. Detected my mother in laws homestead with thousands of acres of wheat all around it.

That's my mutt dirt fishing dog.

We just finished putting up about 500 bales of hay, those big round 1200 lbs ones.
