At my high school which I attended 20 years ago, there was this hill or mound surrounded by a stone wall and a large tree on it. It seems the tree is no longer there but a stone is in its place.
For the life of me, I can't imagine why they have kept this all these years, surrounded by a stone while everything else was cleared for development. The school has been there many years and was probably farmland before it was built.
I'm wondering how I might go about finding out what it is, and possibly detecting it. Here is a photo zoomed in of the track with the mound.
