pinpointer yes or no!!

They are a waste of time for me. I get a beep put my detector on the ground dig a plug and waive the plug over the coil if no beep I dig alittle deeper. Time I take a seperate pinpointer out of my pocket turn it on find the target and put the pinpointer back in my pocket I could of found several more items by the way I do it now. Steve.

Same here , my point exactly . But, if you can afford one they are nice , I have had a few times when one would have helped me a lot , just not enough to justify the expense right now. I will eventually get a pinpointer but I will wait until I can get a good one and not a cheapy. About 97 times out of 100 I can locate and retrieve a target faster than someone could get their pinpointer and turn it on and thats not exaggerating.

I think it is a good tool to have in the tool bag when you need it.
