PA State Parks

just a thought,

i live in west pa, the ranger of the local park gave me a rule sheet. it states to report items that are found and will be removed from the park. items recovered become the property of the finder, except for those of historical significance.
the areas that have 1700's cellar holes and most of the old horse/wagon roads are off limits.
he said that all state parks have differnt rules.
i still take my chances in the areas allowed 'cause you never know. he also told me his dad md in the park and never found anything.
if i have turn over my finds, i would want pix and a recept discribing what i gave then i'd go over his head and ask what's up with this.
the ranger i met was a really nice guy and helpfull.
what is an item of historical signifcance?
